Declare The Target
One sentence: what you sell, who pays you, how much.
ProofThe sentence.
ClockNo clock. Mission I is open until you play it.
Act I · Mission I · free
This is Mission I of the First Dollar campaign. It is free, it takes six minutes, and a game master reads what you write and stamps it.
This mission is playable at the bottom of this page. No account, no card.
One sentence: what you sell, who pays you, how much.
ProofThe sentence.
ClockNo clock. Mission I is open until you play it.
What counts as proof
What does not
The usual route
The game master does not grade the route. It grades what you come back with.
Name the thing, not the vision
Write what changes hands. A file, an hour, a repair, a bag of coffee, a fixed page.
Name one payer you could reach by Friday
A person or a role in a place. Not a segment, not an age bracket, not “businesses”.
Put a number on it
Guess if you must. A wrong price beats no price, and Mission II corrects you within two days.
Read it out loud
If a stranger could not repeat it back to you, cut half the words and try again.
The usual failures
Written by the game master from its own rules, not yet by players.
Proof
RejectedI sell coaching to people who want more out of life, for a fair price.
“People who want more out of life” is not a payer, and “a fair price” is not a number.
Name one person you could call this week, and the price you would ask. Resubmit.
Proof
RejectedA platform connecting local artisans with buyers, monetised through commission.
You described a business model, not a sale. Nobody hands money to a connection.
Name what one artisan or one buyer pays you, and how much. Resubmit.
Proof
RejectedI sell handmade ceramic mugs to people who like ceramics, for €30.
The thing and the price are clear. “People who like ceramics” is everyone and nobody.
Name where you would find your next three buyers by name. Resubmit.
Proof
RejectedI want to help small businesses with their social media.
“I want to help” is an intention, and “small businesses” is 300 million of them.
Write it as a sale: what you deliver, to which kind of business, for how much. Resubmit.
What accepted looks like
AcceptedI sell a 2-hour Google Ads audit to dentists in Lyon who run their own clinic, for €250.
A deliverable, a payer you can find this week, and a number.
Mission II — Ask Five Strangers. Five people who do not know you, saying they would pay.
Mission 1 of 12 · free
One sentence, a real stamp, no account. Nothing here is simulated.
One sentence: what you sell, who pays you, how much.
ProofThe sentence.
Three verdicts per mission per day. No account, no card.
What counts as proof
What does not
Most sentences are rejected the first time. That is the game working, not you failing.
